How well should we spend our Time!

Hi friends, welcome to “Snehha Ke Vichar”.

Let us today discuss a very important part of our life called “Time”.

We all run round the clock.

Our whole life revolves around it.

I happen to read an amazing part in a book named (Eat That Frog) about Time and I thought to share it with all of you.

Time is the only common thing with entire mankind.

Perhaps, that is the only thing which does not discriminate between the rich and the poor, the young and the old, male and female etc. and gets equal to all.

Though we all have 24 hours each day, we often say that we do not have enough time.

Let us divide our 24 hours of the time a day into two parts.

  1.       Quality Time

  2.       Quantity Time

As we all have two common and important parts of life that i, Personal Life and Professional Life

Now that we have divided our time, let us also have clarity about which one to associate with what.

I am sure you all would say it is so simple, we should associate our Quality Time with Personal Life.

Meaning we should spend our Quality Time with our loved ones.

And our Quantity Time with Professional Life, meaning, we should work a particular number of hours or more in office/ business.

But let me tell you one fact, it is just the other way round.

Which means Quantity Time should be spent in Personal Life and Quality Time should be spent in Professional Life.

Confused? Let me explain.

As per the book (Eat that Frog), Our family or loved ones wants to spend more time with us.

And every relationship requires a human presence over any virtual presence or materialistic thing.

The more time we spend with them the more that relationship gets stronger and the more affectionate we feel for each other.

A child likes to spend more time with his parents, a couple would like each other’s company more than anything else etc.

Hence quantity is more important and talking about quality, even if we sit beside our loved ones and do nothing is a quality time.

Now talking about Quality Time.

We should spend Quality Time in our Professional Life.

Whatever working hours we have each day, that should be spent doing more productive work.

Now what exactly happens is we think of our personal life while we are in office and stress about our office when we are at home with our loved ones.

Hence neither our quality nor does our Quantity Time is spent well which results in disturbed Personal and Professional Life.

Let's not do that and spend our Quality Time well in our Professional Life so that we get good Quantity Time for our Personal Life.

What are your thoughts on this, do let me know in the comments.

Hi friends, Welcome to “Snehha Ke Vichar”.

Today I want to talk about my observation.

We all work hard for success right.

And success according to all of us means buying our own house, own car, having some insurance policies for ourself and our loved ones, paying our bills, having a vacation and some savings in our accounts etc.

Fair enough!

Before we even buy all of these, there is someone who is spying on us.

Someone is actually keeping an eye on our earnings, purchases, whishlists etc.

Do you know who that is?

It’s a BANK!

I am sure you all might be thinking why am I saying all this.

Let me explain my point.

We all get a call at least once a day from some or the other bank offering us something.

They either offer various types of loans, some insurance or credit card.

Now, when we happen to fall for these irresistible offers, we end up buying it.

Credit card is the most irresistible offer.

And it seems like a necessity these days.

Every other person has at least one.

We own a credit card in a hope of giving some relief to our pocket, and like an angel it will grant us everything that we wish for.

But most of the times it becomes a ghost in our life and starts scaring us by putting a burden to our pocket.

I know there is a way to use it and if one uses it the right way it would really be an angel to us.

But it also tempts us to buy things which are not really required or out of the budget.

We fall prey to such offers and start misusing it no matter how smart we are.

I am sure you all must be agreeing to me. Because at some point we all have made this mistake, Right.

But eventually we get habitual to it and try to buy all those things which means success to us.

But we do not realize that most of it is a liability and the remaining ones aren’t owned by us until we pay the entire amount of it. May it be a house or any other commodity which has been bought through a credit card.

Does that mean the success which is been bought by the credit cards are an illusion?

It seems like a Mirage to me. I own something but still aren’t the owner of it.

This is what I call the Modern level of Poverty!

Hi friends, welcome to “Snehha Ke Vichar”.

I have often seen there is an uneven ratio of successful and unsuccessful people in almost every fields.

And I do not like the unfair nature of the world.

At times this would scare me when I was young.

I would wonder what if I am at the unfavourable side?

What if I am unsuccessful?

That’s when I happen to discuss it with my Mentor.

And as you all know I have been sharing all the learnings that I have been getting from my Mentor in my entrepreneurial journey with you all.

Hence, I shared this thought too with him.

Mentor just said this line to me: “Success is Predictable”.

I have known that I need to make some changes in my life if I really want to be successful.

First thing was, I should start following because the person who follows will grow faster.

Hence, I started following my mentor.

He simply taught me three very simple things.

1.“Give importance to every task and learn to finish a task that I take”.

The completion of an important task triggers the release of endorphins in your brain.

These endorphins give you a natural “high.”

The endorphin rush that follows successful completion of any task makes you feel more positive, personable, creative, and confident.

 2. "Develop a Positive Addiction"

Here is one of the most important of the so-called secrets of success.

You can actually develop a “positive addiction” to endorphins and to the feeling of enhanced clarity, confidence, and competence that they trigger.

When you develop this addiction, you will, at an unconscious level, begin to organize your life in such a way that you are continually starting and completing ever more important tasks and projects.

You will actually become addicted, in a very positive sense, to success and contribution

And once you learn these, the last step is:

3.“Develop the Habits of Success”

Your success in life and work will be determined by the kinds of habits that you develop over time.

The habit of setting priorities, overcoming procrastination, and getting on with your most important task is a mental and physical skill.

As such, this habit is learnable through practice and repetition, over and over again, until it locks into your subconscious mind and becomes a permanent part of your behaviour.

Once it becomes a habit, it becomes both automatic and easy to do.

And when one is addicted and habitual to success it is obviously Predictable.
