Stages Of Sales

Hi, friends welcome to today’s blog.

As you all know being an entrepreneur I keep learning different concepts of business and I love to share them with you.

In one of my previous blogs, I shared the how successful Sales happen.

To read the blog, click on the link: https://bloggersnehha09.blogspot.com/2021/11/this-is-how-successful-sales-happen-by.html

So today I felt to share about the stages of Sales that I learned.

As you know in every business we either sell products or services. And this is an important activity in the business.

However, the stages may vary from business to business. But these are the common stages that I would want to share.

Let us discuss the stages:

  • Lead List:

This is nothing but a name list.

A lead list is a list of prospective buyers.  They may not necessarily be your customer. But they may be interested.

Some call it a lead list, some call it a prospect list, some simply call it a Name List.

This name List can be names of brands, companies, persons etc

This is the most important aspect of the business.

This is a map with GPS of your Business. The more the Lead List, the bigger will be your business.

  • First Contact:

Once you finalize the lead list, the second is to contact them one by one.

The most preferred and professional way to contact your prospects or potential customers is to meet them in person.

Here we need to check the customers preferred time to either meet or call.

  • Funnelling the customers:

Here we need to filter the customer by separating and segregating them based upon their needs and requirements.

Here we can figure out if the customer is serious or not. The Serious ones will be bifurcated.

  • Customer Objections:

If the customer is asking questions does not mean that he is skeptical or objecting to the product or service that you are presenting.

It simply means that he would intend to be what you are presenting.

  • Product Discussion:

Now, this discussion is mainly a technical discussion.

This stage comes after a couple of meetings of Customer Objections.

Once we can handle the objection well. This stage becomes very easy.

Here the customer is quite convinced about your product or services that it will fulfil his needs and requirements.

  • Closing:

Here firm conviction is required to close the deal.

Now if the customer has reached this stage means he needs what you are presenting.

Half of the race is won. Now only the conviction and confidence will close this deal.

Now after closing it is very important to have a good relationship with the customer.

So keep increasing your list and keep increasing your business!!

Is Working your Habit or Action?

Hello friends, welcome to yet another blog.

Today I want to share with you an amazing concept that I learned from my Mentor.

I started my entrepreneur journey a couple of years back.

When I thought of getting into a business, I was quite excited and at the same time a little scared about how things will happen. I had mixed emotions but one thing was clear I wanted to do something of my own where I will be able to create my identity.

When we take any new decision in life, we usually have such mixed emotions which was very normal.

I started with the business and I was learning a lot of new things.

It was a new world for me.

I was learning, implementing, making money, making mistakes again learning and so on.

This journey was no less than a roller coaster ride.

There were times when I enjoyed the ride, and there were times when I was really scared.

Meaning I tasted success and at times I failed miserably.

But my behaviour in both situations was different.

When I got success I would work more enthusiastically, however when I would face some challenges I would not work with the same enthusiasm.

Somehow I would find excuses for running away.

Hence, the outcomes in both situations were different.

My Mentor would notice this difference. So I decided to talk to my Mentor about it.

He simply asked me one question – Is working your habit or action?

I was quite confused, I said: habit no no action. I mean I do not know”.

On this, my mentor smiled and said let me explain simplistically”.

You brush your teeth daily right? I said yes of course.

He said does this process need’s your consciousness or does it happens unconsciously and effortlessly?

I said it’s an effortless activity”.

My mentor said that means no one pushes you or forces you to do this activity, you do it daily no matter

what, right?”

I laughed for a second and said of course I do it on my own daily without fail and I do not need anyone to tell

me if I need to brush my teeth”.

He said, this is called a habit.

Things that we do it daily, effortlessly and without any break are called habits.

But when we talk about actions, it needs your efforts.

We need to put in efforts to take any action.

However, they both are interrelated.

Once brushing teeth was also an action. Someone would force us to do it daily.

The constant action of brushing teeth became our habit, and over a while, it started happening effortlessly and unconsciously.

We need to put effort to take action daily until it becomes our habit. And once it becomes our habit, it happens unconsciously, irrespective of the situation and mood.

Same with work.

Being an entrepreneur, we are lucky to be our own boss, however we do not have a choice to not work.

The thing is we are so used to having someone bossing over us that we cannot be self-driven.

If you want to know how to turn  Wishful thought into Action Plan read one more blog by clicking on this linkhttps://bloggersnehha09.blogspot.com/2021/11/wishful-thought-vs-action-plan.html

If you work happily when things are hunky-dory and do not work when you face any challenge. You will always go four steps ahead and come back two steps. Which will take you nowhere in your journey or might slow your journey.

If your efforts are different then the results will be different.

Challenges will keep coming throughout your life. But if you want to be successful you need to make a habit of working daily towards it.

Hence working daily enthusiastically  irrespective of the situation and mood  and and making it a habit will give the desired success.

That day I learned a lesson that I will make it habit of working daily and not occasionally.

Self Employment or Business

Hello friends, welcome to one more blog, today let us discuss the difference between the two mindsets of people who want to be a self Employed and people who become businessmen or Entrepreneurs, which I learned from one of the pieces of training by Rajiv Talreja.

Now you might think that being Self Employed and being an Entrepreneur/Businessman is the same.

However, these two are two different things or I should say two different Mindsets

one is a WANTREPRENEUR and the second is ENTREPRENEUR

Let us see what is the difference between a WANTREPRENEUR and an ENTREPRENEUR

WANTREPRENEUR  v/s ENTREPRENEUR

WANTREPRENEUR:

1. I know everything Syndrome:

People who think that they know everything are the actual problem.

They ignore every new thing thinking that what all they know is sufficient and they know it all.

Such people can never be ENTREPRENEUR.

ENTREPRENEUR:

1. Ready to learn new things:

These people always think that I do not know a lot of things and I want to grow in life I need to learn new things.

WANTREPRENEUR:

2. Mr Perfectionist:

People who believe in perfection or they think that they are perfect are the most foolish.

Perfection is a myth.

One can never be perfect in anything.

Perfection is Stagnation. which means it ends.

ENTREPRENEUR:

2. Mr Follower:

These people always think, to reach the destination called success I need to keep learning, following and progressing.

Entrepreneurship is a journey of progress, not perfection.

WANTREPRENEUR:

3. Waiting for "D-Day":

These people are very enthusiastic to start something of their own.

They have a lot of excitement, they have big dreams.

They always feel one day I will become an Entrepreneur.

But often say these lines:

I will start a business,

Once I have the money

Once I have the time.

That one fine day never comes.

ENTREPRENEUR:

3. Grabs the opportunity:

They never wait for the time or money to come to start some business.

They want their life to change and they always feel change does not take time but change take action.

To have the money and time I want,

I need to invest the money and time I don't have.

They manage their time, arrange money, come out of their comfort zone and work towards what they want.

So my dear friends, analyse your thought process and Actions and decide whether you are an ENTREPRENEUR or WANTREPRENEUR.
